Liquid Pure Guarana (LPG)

This 11,5cm transparant long tube of LPG contains only 25ml of 'pure' guarana. It isn't 100% pure guarana, because there are more ingredients. The most important besides the guarana is the taurine.

The LPG has a dark cherry red colour. When I opened the shot I smelled the guarana already, it is a pretty strong smell.

The taste is strong as well. At first you'll taste the guarana and after that you'll taste some kind of cough medicine. How long this transformation in flavor takes depends on how fast and how much you drink. Example: when I drunk small sips for this review the medicine flavor came in fast, but when I drunk the second half of the shot it took a few seconds before it came in.

The aftertaste is a guarana flavor again, wich makes the flavors you taste like this: guarana -> cough medicine -> guarana. And that's odd, but delicious.

After having the full shot I felt the energy coming up. It's like an instant energy drink, like most good shots. The time it took after finishing the shot till the energy comming up was about equal with the Burn energy shot. Only difference in the buzz is that the one from the LPG lasts longer. Another thing I love about this shot is that I feel the energy, but I still can sit still, talk at normal speed etc., but I also can run fast if I want. That's the power of guarana: energy, but still able to relax.

Liquid Strenght Power Up

One of the cans I bought on my trip to Winterswijk, the Liquid Strenght Power Up.
According to the can it's a Red Bull clone, because the can claims they used the 'original formula'. Wich is from Lipovitan, world's oldest energydrink, the 'daddy' of Red Bull.

I drank this one from a glass, and I found a wonderful surprise. The drink is transparent. So not the famous caramel-colour this time.

When I opened the can, it smelled like Red Bull. And it tastes like Red Bull, but it has a odd coffee-like flavor, just very light.
The aftertaste is not the best ever. It's an odd sticky taste.
It's a Red Bull clone for sure, but little different, with a bad aftertaste.

There are several things I've got to say. First of all, the taste is more like 7-up than like Red Bull, as I told you before. This makes it a drink totally different from Red Bull, wich means this isn't a Red Bull clone.

Soria Natural Fast Liquid Energy

This is the first energy shooter I've ever had. I certainly hope not all shooters taste like this, because this tastes like a nasty cough medicine. The first problem you'll have with this is the opening; the opening of this bottle is not like any normal bottle. I did the strangest things to open this thing, and all failed. When I finally opened it, some white powder came out (no, it's not what you're thinking). The worst is: I did all this stuff to open it, only to find out how to open it afterwards and that the taste doesn't meet the standard you'd expect for €1,50. When you're out to buy an energy drink for €1,50, buy a 16oz Monster Ripper or something.
